Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act^{footnote b}, transfers from the Department of Transport to the Department of National Defence the control and supervision of that portion of the federal public administration in the Department of Transport known as the Aircraft Services Directorate, effective April 1, 2026.
