Order Transferring from the Minister for International Trade to the Minister of State (US Trade) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs the Powers, Duties and Functions Under Subsection 53(2) of the Customs Tariff

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act ^{footnote b}, transfers from the Minister for International Trade the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of International Trade under subsection 53(2)^{footnote c} of the Customs Tariff ^{footnote d},

• (a) to the Minister of State (US Trade), specifically in relation to Canada-US trade; and
• (b) to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in relation to all other trade.
