Order Designating the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons as the Minister for the Purposes of the Referendum Act

P.C. 2025-433 March 14, 2025

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister,

• (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2025-83 of February 12, 2025^{footnote a}; and
• (b) designates the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, a member of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the Referendum Act ^{footnote b}.
