Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act^{footnote b}, transfers to the Minister of Canadian Heritage the powers, duties and functions under the Official Languages Act^{footnote c} that were transferred to the Minister of State (Official Languages) by Order in Council P.C. 2021-946 of October 26, 2021^{footnote d}.
