Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act^{footnote b}, transfers from the Minister of State (Emergency Preparedness) to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness the powers, duties and functions under section 7 of the Emergency Management Act^{footnote c} that were transferred to that Minister by Order in Council P.C. 2024-1183 of November 8, 2024^{footnote d}.
