Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a)^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act ^{footnote b}, transfers to the Minister of Health the powers, duties and functions under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act ^{footnote c} and the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act ^{footnote d} that were transferred to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health by Order in Council P.C. 2022-549 of May 26, 2022^{footnote e}.
