Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor and Assigning the Honourable Rachel Bendayan to Assist the Minister of Canadian Heritage and the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under section 11^{footnote a} of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act^{footnote b},

• (a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor made by Order in Council P.C. 2024-1232 of November 21, 2024^{footnote c};
• (b) assigns the Honourable Rachel Bendayan, Minister of State (Official Languages) to be styled Minister of Official Languages and Associate Minister of Public Safety, to assist the Minister of Canadian Heritage in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities; and
• (c) assigns the Honourable Rachel Bendayan, Minister of State (Public Safety) to be styled Minister of Official Languages and Associate Minister of Public Safety, to assist the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
