Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Filomena Tassi and Assigning the Honourable Ruby Sahota to Assist the Minister of Industry

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under section 11^{footnote a} of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act^{footnote b},

• (a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Filomena Tassi made by Order in Council P.C. 2022-935 of August 31, 2022^{footnote c}; and
• (b) assigns the Honourable Ruby Sahota, Minister of State (Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario) to be styled Minister of Democratic Institutions and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, to assist the Minister of Industry in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
