Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 ^{footnote a} of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act ^{footnote b}, assigns the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of State (Diversity and Inclusion and Youth) to be styled Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, to assist the Minister of Canadian Heritage in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
