TO ALL TO WHOM these presents shall come or whom the same may in any way concern,
GREETING:
A Proclamation
Whereas, pursuant to section 89 of the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act, being chapter 41 of the Statutes of Canada, 1986, assented to on June 27, 1986, it is provided that Parts I, II and III of that Act or any one of those Parts shall come into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation;
And Whereas, by order P.C. 2019-1041 of July 9, 2019, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council ordered that a proclamation do issue fixing the coming into force date of Part III of the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act as July 29, 2019;
Now Know You that We, by and with the advice of Our Privy Council for Canada, do by this Our Proclamation declare and direct that Part III of the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act shall come into force on July 29, 2019.
Of all which Our Loving Subjects and all others whom these presents may concern are required to take notice and to govern themselves accordingly.
In testimony whereof, We have caused this Our proclamation to be published and the Great Seal of Canada to be affixed to it.
WITNESS:
Our Right Trusty and Well-beloved Julie Payette, Chancellor and Principal Companion of Our Order of Canada, Chancellor and Commander of Our Order of Military Merit, Chancellor and Commander of Our Order of Merit of the Police Forces, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada.
AT OUR GOVERNMENT HOUSE, in Our City of Ottawa, this twenty-second day of July in the year of Our Lord two thousand and nineteen and in the sixty-eighth year of Our Reign.
