The Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 13 of the Customs Tariff (see footnote a), hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the List of Tariff Provisions Set Out in the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, 2011.

PROVISIONS SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE
TO THE CUSTOMS TARIFF, 2011
AMENDMENTS
1. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff (see footnote 1) is amended as set out in Part 1 of the schedule to these Regulations.
2. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the English version of the Act is amended as set out in Part 2 of the schedule to these Regulations.
3. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the French version of the Act is amended as set out in Part 3 of the schedule to these Regulations.
COMING INTO FORCE
4. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.

1. The Description of Goods of tariff item No. 8413.91.30 is amended by replacing the reference to “8413.11.90, 8413.19.90, 8413.20.00, 8413.30.00, 8413.40.00, 8413.50.00, 8413.60.00, 8413.70.10 or 8413.81.00” with a reference to “8413.11.90, 8413.19.90, 8413.20.00, 8413.30.00, 8413.40.00 or 8413.70.10”.

REGULATORY IMPACT ANALYSIS STATEMENT
(This statement is not part of the Regulations.)
Issue and objectives
The Regulations Amending the List of Tariff Provisions Set Out in the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, 2011 amend the Schedule to the Customs Tariff to correct minor, technical errors and to better align English and French texts.
Description and rationale
The amendments contained in these Regulations are technical and ensure a consistent interpretation of the affected tariff provisions. They correct minor, technical errors (i.e. typographical, translation or transposition errors) identified by the Department of Finance and the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations.
No alternatives were considered. Regulations pursuant to section 13 of the Customs Tariff are the appropriate method of making such technical changes.
Consultation
Since the amendments are technical in nature and do not involve any new policy or financial implications, no consultations were undertaken.
Implementation, enforcement and service standards
The Canada Border Services Agency is responsible for the administration of and compliance with customs and tariff legislation and regulations. In the course of its administration of these tariff changes, the Agency will inform the importing community.
