ARCHIVED — Order Assigning the Honourable Bernard Valcourt to Assist the Minister Responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Act and the Minister of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 (see footnote a) of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act (see footnote b), hereby assigns the Honourable Bernard Valcourt, a Minister of State to be styled Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) (La Francophonie), to assist

1. (a) the member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada appointed by Commission under the Great Seal to be the Minister for the purposes of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Act (see footnote c) in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities, and
   
2. (b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities,

effective May 18, 2011.
