EXEMPTION FROM FOREIGN BANK STATUS

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 12(3) of the Bank Act, that the European Investment Bank, a multilateral financial institution and body of the European Union established by the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and having its seat at 98-100 boulevard Konrad Adenauer, L-2950 Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, will be making an application to the Minister of Finance for an order, pursuant to subsection 12(1) of the Bank Act, exempting it from being a foreign bank, as that term is used in the Bank Act.
