ARAG CANADA HOLDINGS LTD.

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH AN INSURANCE COMPANY

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 25(2) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that ARAG Canada Holdings Ltd. intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after October 4, 2026, an application for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent incorporating an insurance company to carry on the business within the classes of legal expenses insurance and other approved products insurance in Canada. Its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

The proposed insurance company will carry on business in Canada under the legal names “ARAG Canada Insurance Ltd.” in the English form and “Compagnie d’assurance ARAG du Canada ltée” in the French form.

Any person who objects to the proposed incorporation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before November 3, 2026.

Note: The publication of this notice should not be construed as evidence that letters patent will be issued to incorporate the property and casualty insurance company. The granting of the letters patent will be dependent upon the normal Insurance Companies Act (Canada) application review process and the discretion of the Minister of Finance.
