DETERMINATION

Decontamination and demolition services

Notice is given that, after completing its inquiry, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal made a determination (file PR-2024-057) on March 31, 2025, with respect to a complaint filed by Axxys Construction (Axxys), of Montréal, Quebec, pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, concerning a procurement (solicitation WS4082835679) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC). The solicitation was for decontamination and demolition services.

Axxys alleged that PWGSC improperly awarded the standing offer to one of the bidders that did not meet the mandatory technical requirements.

Having examined the evidence presented by the parties and considered the provisions of various trade agreements, the Tribunal determined that the complaint was valid in part.

Task-based informatics professional services

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (file PR-2024-085) from Experis Canada Inc. (Experis), of Ottawa, Ontario, concerning a procurement (solicitation R000166204/A) made by Shared Services Canada. The solicitation was for task-based informatics professional services. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is given that the Tribunal made a decision on March 31, 2025, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

Experis alleges that its bid was not properly evaluated.

PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

Permission and leave granted (Desgranges, Jean-Jacques)

The Public Service Commission of Canada, pursuant to section 116 of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby gives notice that it has granted permission, pursuant to subsection 114(4) of the said Act, to Jean-Jacques Desgranges, Canada Revenue Agency, to seek nomination as, and to be, a candidate during the election period, in the electoral district of Algonquin—Renfrew—Pembroke, Ontario, in the federal election to be held on April 28, 2025.

The Public Service Commission of Canada, pursuant to subsection 114(5) of the said Act, has also granted a leave of absence without pay during the election period, effective the first day the employee is a candidate during the election period.
