Withdrawal of the by-election writ

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 551 of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000, c. 9), that the writ issued on March 2, 2025, for a by-election to be held in the electoral district of Halifax on April 14, 2025, is deemed to have been superseded and withdrawn under subsection 31(3) of the Parliament of Canada Act, therefore cancelling the said by-election.
