APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH A CANADIAN BRANCH
Notice is hereby given that Europ Assistance S.A., an entity incorporated in France, which principally carries on business in Europe and the United Kingdom, intends to file, under section 574 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after February 21, 2022, an application for an order approving the insuring in Canada of risks, under the English name Europ Assistance S.A. Canada Branch and the French name Europ Assistance S.A. succursale au Canada. Europ Assistance S.A. is a property and casualty insurance company and intends to insure property, liability, accident and sickness, and automobile risks in Canada. The head office of the company is located in Paris, France, and its Canadian chief agency will be located in Toronto, Ontario. Europ Assistance S.A.’s ultimate corporate parent, named Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., is based in Italy.

THE ORDER OF UNITED COMMERCIAL TRAVELERS OF AMERICA
RELEASE OF ASSETS
Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that The Order of United Commercial Travelers of America intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) on January 24, 2022, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.
Any policyholder or creditor in respect of The Order of United Commercial Travelers of America’s insurance business in Canada opposing that release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before January 24, 2022.

UFSC HERITAGE LIFE INSURANCE FRATERNAL SOCIETY
ASSUMPTION REINSURANCE AGREEMENT AND TRANSFER OF LIABILITIES
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 254(3) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that UFSC Heritage Life Insurance Fraternal Society (“UFSC”) intends to make an application to the Minister of Finance (Canada) on or after February 9, 2022, for approval to cause itself to be reinsured, on an assumption basis, against all of the risks undertaken under its policies, by The Grand Orange Lodge of British America (“Orange”), as outlined in the assumption reinsurance agreement between UFSC and Orange (the “Agreement”). Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Orange will also assume UFSC’s outstanding obligations to current and former policyholders in relation to matured RRSP endowments and unclaimed deposits.
A copy of the proposed Agreement relating to this transaction and of the report of the independent actuary thereon will be made available for inspection during regular business hours at the head office of UFSC located at 235 McGregor Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2W 4W5, for a period of at least 30 days following publication of this notice. Any policy holder may request a copy of the Agreement by writing to UFSC to the attention of the Secretary-Treasurer at the above-mentioned address.
