CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRIBUNAL

INQUIRY

Animal control services

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2021-046) from Pacific Northwest Raptors Ltd. (PNWR) of Duncan, British Columbia, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W684H-210029/A) made by the Department of Public Works and Government Services on behalf of the Real Property Operations Section (Halifax) of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation was for the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment and transportation required for the control of wildlife at the 12 Wing Shearwater aerodrome and surrounding area. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on October 12, 2021, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

PNWR alleges that its bid was rejected on the basis of an evaluation that was improperly conducted.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2021-045) from Asokan Business Interiors (Asokan) of Gatineau, Quebec, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. FIN-20210497) made by the Department of Finance. The solicitation was for the purchase and delivery of rotary office chairs under Supply Arrangement No. E60PQ-120001/G. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on October 8, 2021, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.

Asokan alleges that its bid was improperly rejected on the basis of non-compliance with the mandatory requirements.
