Resolution
Pursuant to section 66.5 of the Employment Insurance Act, notice is hereby given that the Employment Insurance premium rate for the year 2022 is $1.58 per $100 of insurable earnings.
Pursuant to sections 76.07 and 76.35 of the Employment Insurance Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Employment Insurance premium reduction rate for the year 2022 for residents of Quebec covered under the Quebec Parental Insurance Plan is $0.38. Therefore, the Employment Insurance premium rate for residents of Quebec is $1.20 per $100 of insurable earnings.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT
Notice No. TIPB-003-2021 — Petition to the Governor in Council concerning Telecom Decision CRTC 2021-181
On July 24, 2021, Notice No. TIPB-002-2021, published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, provided notice that petitions had been received by the Governor in Council (GIC) under section 12 of the Telecommunications Act with respect to Telecom Decision CRTC 2021-181, Requests to review and vary Telecom Order 2019-288 regarding final rates for aggregated wholesale high-speed access services, a decision issued by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
Notice is hereby given that an additional petition has been received by the GIC from National Capital FreeNet concerning Telecom Decision CRTC 2021-181.
Subsection 12(1) of the Telecommunications Act provides that, within one year after a decision by the CRTC, the GIC may, on petition in writing presented to the GIC within 90 days after the decision, or on the GIC’s own motion, by order, vary or rescind the decision or refer it back to the CRTC for reconsideration of all or a portion of it.
Submissions regarding this petition should be filed by November 1, 2021. All comments received will be posted on Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s Spectrum management and telecommunications website.
