Federal Environmental Quality Guideline for copper
Whereas the Minister of the Environment issues the environmental quality guidelines for the purpose of carrying out the Minister's mandate related to preserving the quality of the environment;
Whereas the guidelines relate to the environment pursuant to paragraph 54(2)(a) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999;
And whereas the Minister of the Environment has consulted provincial and territorial governments and the members of the National Advisory Committee who are representatives of Indigenous governments in accordance with subsection 54(3) of the Act;
Notice is hereby given that the Federal Environmental Quality Guideline for copper is available on the Canada.ca (Chemical Substances) website.

Notice No. SMSE-003-21 — Release of SRSP-331.8, issue 1, and SRSP-312.7, issue 2
Notice is hereby given that Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has released the following standards:
Standard Radio System Plan SRSP-331.8, issue 1, Technical Requirements for Fixed Radio Systems Operating in the Band 31.8-33.4 GHz; and
Standard Radio System Plan SRSP-312.7, issue 2, Technical Requirements for Radio Systems Operating in the Fixed Service, in the Band 12.7-13.25 GHz.
These standards set out the minimum technical requirements for the efficient use of the frequency bands 31.8-33.4 GHz and 12.7-13.2 GHz by radio systems operating in the fixed service.
These documents will come into force upon their publication on the Official publications section of the Spectrum Management and Telecommunications website.

Notice No. SMSE-004-21 — Release of SPR-003, issue 1
Notice is hereby given by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) that the following supplementary measurement procedure is to be used to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of RSS-102, Radio Frequency (RF) Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus (All Frequency Bands) and it is now available on the Department's Radio Standards Specifications page.
SPR-003, issue 1, Supplementary Procedure for Assessing Radio Frequency Exposure Compliance of Portable Devices Operating in the 60 GHz Frequency Band (57-71 GHz), sets out the general test methods when carrying out an assessment of the power density exposure requirements of RSS-102.
This document will come into force upon its publication on the Radio Standards Specifications page of the Spectrum Management and Telecommunications website.

The Radio equipment standards list will be amended accordingly.

- pursuant to subsection 52(4) of the Insurance Companies Act, of an order authorizing Intact Insurance Company to commence and carry on business, and to insure risks falling within the classes of accident and sickness insurance, aircraft insurance, automobile insurance, boiler and machinery insurance, credit insurance, credit protection insurance, fidelity insurance, hail insurance, legal expense insurance, liability insurance, marine insurance, property insurance, and surety insurance, effective April 1, 2021.
