PROPOSED REGULATORY TEXT

Notice is given that the Governor in Council, pursuant to section 60 footnote a of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act footnote b, considering that it is necessary in the public interest, proposes to make the annexed Order Amending Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Tramadol).

Interested persons may make representations concerning the proposed Order within 60 days after the date of publication of this notice. All such representations must cite the Canada Gazette, Part I, and the date of publication of this notice, and be addressed to the Office of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, Controlled Substances Directorate, Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch, Department of Health, Address Locator: 0302A, 150 Tunney’s Pasture Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0K9 (email: hc.csd.regulatory.policy-politique.reglementaire.dsc.sc@canada.ca).

Order Amending Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Tramadol)

Amendment

1 Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act footnote 1 is amended by adding the following after item 26:

Coming into Force

2 This Order comes into force on the first anniversary of the day on which it is published in the Canada Gazette, Part II.
