FIRST NATIONS BANK OF CANADA

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH A TRUST COMPANY

Notice is hereby given that the First Nations Bank of Canada, a Schedule I Bank under the federal laws of Canada, intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (the "Superintendent") on or after December 13, 2018, an application pursuant to subsection 24(2) of the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada), for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent incorporating a trust company under the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada). The trust company will carry on business in Canada under the name of FNB Trust, and its head office will be located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Any person who objects to the proposed incorporation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions at 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before December 13, 2018.

Note: The publication of this notice should not be construed as evidence that letters patent will be issued to establish the trust company. The granting of the letters patent will be dependent upon the normal Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) application review process and the discretion of the Minister of Finance.

PLANS DEPOSITED

The Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports [the department of transport, sustainable mobility and transportation electrification] hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, the Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification des transports has deposited with the Minister of Transport, in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Frontenac, at Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, under deposit No. 24 173 341, and at the Saint-Romain and Lambton municipal offices, a description of the site and plans for the demolition of the Pont de Fer [iron bridge] (P-02622) and the construction of a new bridge (P-18783) over the Saint-François lake (baie Sauvage), at the Municipality of Lambton, between lots 5 689 660 and 5 689 902.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 1550 D'Estimauville Avenue, Suite 401, Québec, Quebec G1J 0C8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

TALCOTT RESOLUTION LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, CANADA BRANCH

RELEASE OF ASSETS

Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the "Act"], notice is hereby given that Talcott Resolution Life Insurance Company (formerly known as Hartford Life Insurance Company), carrying on business in Canada as a branch under the same name, intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after November 21, 2018, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.

Any policyholder or creditor in respect of Talcott Resolution Life Insurance Company's insurance business in Canada opposing that release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before November 21, 2018.
