PLANS DEPOSITED

The City of Calgary, Transportation Infrastructure, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, The City of Calgary, Transportation Infrastructure, has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the Land Titles Office at Calgary, Alberta, under deposit No. 8200-04-6198, a description of the site and plans for the proposed replacement of the 12th Street SE Bridge over the Bow River at Calgary, Alberta, from St. George's Island to 12th Street SE (SE 14-024-01-W5M).

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 344 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0P6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

RELEASE OF ASSETS

Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that GROUPAMA GAN VIE, carrying on business in Canada as a branch under the name GAN ASSURANCES VIE COMPAGNIE FRANÇAISE D'ASSURANCES VIE MIXTE (“GAN”), intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after April 4, 2016, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.
