Notice is hereby given that, after completing its inquiry, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) made a determination (File No. PR-2013-044) on July 9, 2014, with respect to a complaint filed by Valcom Consulting Group Inc. (Valcom), of Ottawa, Ontario, pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.), concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. EN578-055605/E) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC). The solicitation was for the provision of task-based informatics professional services.

Valcom alleged that PWGSC improperly evaluated its proposal.

Having examined the evidence presented by the parties and considered the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade, the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Agreement on Government Procurement, the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement and the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, the Tribunal determined that the complaint was not valid.

Notice is hereby given that, after completing its inquiry, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) made a determination (File No. PR-2014-004) on July 7, 2014, with respect to a complaint filed by Traductions TRD, of Gatineau, Quebec, pursuant to subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. 47 (4th Supp.), concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. 4W001-14-5013) by the Department of Western Economic Diversification (WD). The solicitation was for translation services.

Traductions TRD alleged that its bid was incorrectly found to be non-compliant by reason of an erroneous interpretation by WD of a requirement of the request for proposal.

Having examined the evidence presented by the parties and considered the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade, the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Agreement on Government Procurement, the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement and the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, the Tribunal determined that the complaint was not valid.
