Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 6.41(2) (see footnote a) of the Aeronautics Act (see footnote b), approves Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators, made by the Minister of Transport on June 25, 2012.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order approves Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators made by the Minister of Transport on June 25, 2012. Without this approval, Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators would, in accordance with subsection 6.41(2) of the Aeronautics Act, cease to have effect 14 days after it was made. As a result of this approval, Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators will, in accordance with subsection 6.41(3) of the Aeronautics Act, cease to have effect one year after the day on which it was made or on the day on which regulations that have the same effect come into force, whichever is earlier. The Department of Transport expects to publish for consultation a set of proposed amendments to the Canadian Aviation Regulations that will have the same effect as Interim Order No. 10 Respecting Private Operators in 2012.
