CANADIAN CHOICE BANK

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH A BANK

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 25(2) of the Bank Act (Canada), that Canadian First Financial Holdings Limited (“Canadian First”), which presently owns Canadian First Financial Centres Limited and Canadian First Financial Insurance Services, an Ontario life insurance agency, and is associated with the Canadian First Financial Centres group of companies, intends to apply to the Minister of Finance, through its wholly owned subsidiary Canadian First Financial Capital Corporation, for letters patent incorporating a wholly owned bank to carry on the business of banking in Canada. Canadian First’s head office is in Toronto, Ontario.

The bank will carry on business in Canada under the name of Canadian Choice Bank in English and Banque Choix Canadien in French, and its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before July 2, 2012.
