Alberta Transportation hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, Alberta Transportation has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the Alberta Land Titles Office, at John E. Brownlee Building (Mezzanine Floor), 10365 97th Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3W7, under deposit No. 1720480, a description of the site and plans for the twinning of the Highway 2 Bridge over the Peace River, at the town of Peace River, Alberta, from SW 31-83-21-W5M (latitude: 56.239888, longitude: –117.307994) to NE 31-83-21-W5M (latitude: 56.240861, longitude –117.301200).

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 344 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0P6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
