Inflation adjustment factor
For the purposes of section 384 of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, the inflation adjustment factor for the one-year period beginning April 1, 2017, is
152.9 or 1.408
This inflation adjustment factor is used in the calculation of the election expense limits for registered parties and candidates, as well as the election advertising limits for third parties.
