The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the town office of Musgrave Harbour, at 181 Main Street, Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador, under deposit No. 8200-06-1325, a description of the site and plans of the existing breakwater extension in the waters of Muddy Hole, Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1300, John Cabot Building, 10 Barter’s Hill, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C 6H8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

Énergie hydroélectrique Ouiatchouan S.E.C. hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, Énergie hydroélectrique Ouiatchouan S.E.C. has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the Land Registry Office of Lac-Saint-Jean-Ouest — Services Québec, at Roberval, Quebec, under deposit No. 19596374, a description of the site and plans for the construction of a hydroelectric complex, including a dam and a run-of-the-river plant, on the Ouiatchouan River, at the Val-Jalbert site, in the municipality of Chambord. The plant will be located alongside the river in front of the old paper mill and the dam will be located upstream of Maligne Falls near the ruins of the old sawmill. The plant and the dam will be located on part of original Lot 21 (Part 21), Range 2, of the official cadastre of the township of Charlevoix, in the registration division of Lac-Saint-Jean-Ouest.
