The Ministère des Transports du Québec [the department of transportation of Quebec] hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Ministère des Transports du Québec has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the office of the District Registrar of the registration division of Saint-Hyacinthe, at Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, under deposit No. 15 953 755, a description of the site and plans of the Zéphyr-Falcon Bridge bearing No. P-04823, which is located on Du Pont Street (Road 235), over the Rivière aux Brochets, in the city of Bedford, in the registration division of Missisquoi No. 54. The north bridge abutment footing, near Cyr and De L’Église Streets, is located on part of Lots 1 691, 1 692 and 1 945 in the cadastre of Canton de Stanbridge, and the south bridge abutment footing, near Principale Street, on part of Lots 1 703 and 1 945 in the cadastre of Canton de Stanbridge.
Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, 901 Du Cap-Diamant Street, Suite 310, Québec, Quebec G1K 4K1. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
