The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) has received a complaint (File No. PR-2008-062) from Adélard Soucy (1975) inc. (Adélard), of Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W7701-082667/A) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the provision of assembly, welding and fabrication services for heavy mechanical parts. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal has decided to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
Adélard alleges that its proposal was not properly evaluated.

Call for comments on proposed amendmentsto the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations,the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987,the Pay Television Regulations, 1990 and the Specialty Services Regulations, 1990
The Commission proposes to amend the above-noted Regulations in order to implement certain elements of the proposed regulatory framework for broadcasting distribution undertakings and discretionary programming services set out in Broadcasting Public Notice 2008-100 and in order to implement changes relating to sections 29 and 44 of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations to require that contributions to Canadian programming be remitted on a monthly basis and reconciled on an annual basis.
The Commission invites comments on the wording of the proposed amendments set out in the appendices to this notice. The Commission will accept comments that it receives on or before May 3, 2009.

Amendment to Exemption order respecting radio and television temporary network special event type 1 undertakings
The Commission amends Exemption order respecting radio and television temporary network special event type 1 undertakings in order to include radio and television temporary networks that distribute programming of recurring annual special events such as awards shows and fund-raising telethons. The amended exemption order appended to this document replaces Exemption order respecting radio and television temporary network special event type 1 undertakings set out in the appendix to Final revisions to certain exemption orders, Public Notice CRTC 2000-10, January 24, 2000.
