Consult the latest rates for public and private organizations to publish a notice in the Canada Gazette.

Annual increase of publishing rates

As a cost recovery organization, the Canada Gazette Directorate assesses our production costs and adjusts our insertion rates accordingly, when necessary. We will carry out this assessment in the next few months. Therefore, no rate increase is anticipated for the year starting April 1, 2017, and ending March 31, 2018.

Publishing rates, effective April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018

These costs are based on the full page rates for Part I and Part II.Footnote 1

  • Part I: $365 per page
  • Part II: $196 per page

Digital copy

If you request it, we will provide you with a digital copy of your published notice for a fee. You may choose between:

  • a PDF extract: $75
    • this is a portable document format (PDF) version of your notice, with a cover page bearing the “Canada Gazette” wordmark and the Canada Coat of Arms
  • an electronic version: $35
    • this is a text-only version of your notice, as a Microsoft Word file or a PDF file

Crown corporations

Publishing rates, effective April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018

These costs are based on the full page rates for Part I and Part II.Footnote 1

  • Part I: $554 per page
  • Part II: $296 per page

Digital copy

Translation and affidavit fees

The Canada Gazette publishes in both official languages. You must submit the above mentioned type of notice in both French and English or we will translate it for a fee.

The affidavit is a signed document that officially states that a notice was published in Part I of Canada Gazette on a specific date. It may be used in judicial court as legal evidence.
