North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Medal with "Kosovo" (KFOR) Bar Order

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby

(a) authorizes Canadians to accept the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Medal with a "Kosovo" (KFOR) Bar, in recognition of honourable service with the NATO Support Operations in Kosovo, provided that no other medal has been awarded for the same service, and to wear that medal in accordance with the regulations established by NATO for the Medal; and

(b) directs that the Medal follow the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Medal with the "Former Yugoslavia" bar in the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order authorizes the acceptance and wearing of the NATO Medal with a "Kosovo" Bar (KFOR) by Canadians who have participated in NATO operations in support of United Nations Forces engaged in Kosovo.
